01 — Overview

One desktop app from quote to invoice.

Pulse is for anyone who wants to manage clients, projects and invoices in a structured way without setting up an enterprise CRM. All data lives in a local SQLite database. No account, no server, no monthly fee required.

Four steps, one data set.

  1. 1Quote

    Quote from the catalogue

    Track time

Start the timer or add entries afterwards – booked straight to the project and client.

  3. 3Bill

    Create the invoice

The quote becomes an invoice, as a PDF or as an XRechnung XML file.

  4. 4Hand over

    Export for accounting

Track payments, send reminders when needed and pass the data on via DATEV export.

04 — Invoicing

E-invoicing and accountant export built in.

06 — Limits

What Pulse is not.

Pulse does not replace bookkeeping or tax advice. It prepares the data for both.

Not released yet

Pulse is in development. There is no version to download yet.

One computer, one database

Without cloud sync, the data lives on one device. Sync and team features are planned for version 2.0.

Backups stay local

Pulse creates timestamped copies of the database automatically. Off-site backups are up to you.

No bookkeeping

No chart of accounts, no VAT returns. The DATEV export is the hand-over to accounting.

07 — FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Why a local CRM instead of a cloud service?

Pulse stores client, project and invoice data in an SQLite database on your own computer. The data does not sit with a third party, and the app works without an internet connection.

Does Pulse support XRechnung?

Yes. Pulse creates invoices as XRechnung in CII format following EN 16931, including a Leitweg-ID for German public-sector clients. Checking them against the recipient’s requirements remains with the issuer.

Is there an export for my accountant?

Yes. Invoice data can be exported via DATEV export, time entries additionally as CSV.

How does Pulse differ from HubSpot or Pipedrive?

HubSpot and Pipedrive are subscription cloud services focused on sales. Pulse is a desktop app with a local database and covers the path from quote through time tracking to invoice.

Can I use Pulse yet?

Not yet. Pulse is in development; the core with clients, projects, time tracking and invoices is being finished for version 1.0.

What will Pulse cost?

The plan is a core app without subscription and without ads. The final licence model will be set with the first release.

Clients, projects, invoices – managed locally.

No server, no mandatory cloud – Pulse runs as a desktop app. Still in development.
